Louisiana to play at Kentucky next season
The UL football team will play at Kentucky next season, athletic director Scott Farmer said on a radio station on Tuesday.
In an interview with KPEL 1420 AM's Jay Walker, Farmer said that the game at Lexington will be the "money game" for the Ragin' Cajuns next season. The exact date of the game has not been set.

This will be the first meeting ever between the Cajuns and the Wildcats. UL has not beaten a SEC team in its history, going 0-38 against the conference after last Saturday's 56-15 loss at Ole Miss.
This is the third scheduled non-conference game for the 2015 season, with UL hosting Akron on Sept. 26 at Cajun Field, then travelling to Ruston to face in-state rival Louisiana Tech on Oct. 3.

Regardless of how they fare against the hoax this year, in 2015 Kentucky will be the surprise SEC team. Book it.

Let's temper that a bit...Florida is not the Florida we used to know. So losing to Florida in OT is not like it was when they were winning national titles under Urban Meyer.

Kentucky had a top 10 (or so) recruiting class last year. Same as Ole Miss a couple years ago. We can't seem to get these years right when scheduling.

Arkansas last year. They were 3-9.

But they were also coming off an opening week loss to ULM the previous year and had a new coach. They could not overlook us...they couldn't afford to.
