I don't care that this is from Collegiate Scoring System Golfstat.com. It is OUR tournament and we tell them what to call us. When you are hosting the LOUISIANA CLASSICS and your are moving to be called LOUISIANA, why allow this to occur? I just don't get it. For every giant step forward we take, i.e. Kansas State reference to us as Louisiana (formerly Louisiana Lafayette), we take 2 steps backwards when something like this happens on our own website.

Golfstat.com provides the standings. Obviously they have us listed as U.L.-Lafayette. The story itself is all UL, provided by the good folks at ragincajuns.com. Our guys, I'm sure pulled the stats off of a website and pasted into their story, more than likely had a deadline to meet. I dont think any malice was involved.
For what its worth, I think the city tag is B.S. too....I just have more pressing things to fret over. We'll get it right sooner or later. :)
