Otha Peters says leaving Arkansas for Louisiana will be 'an easy transition'
Former Covington All-America linebacker Otha Peters said Thursday night he has decided to transfer from Arkansas to Louisiana "to be closer to his family so they can see me play."
He made the decision earlier this week after talking the situation over with his family, including his mother, Sheila Peters, and Slidell defensive coordinator Malter Scobel, his former coach for four years at Covington High and with whom he remains close.
