Tail Gate Spot Parking Policy (merged)

Not sure if this has been clarified but wanted to pass it along. Tail Gate spots no longer come with two tail Gate parking passes. Your RCAF minimum donation of $250 needed to get a tail gate spot comes with 1 D lot pass. You must purchase a higher donation level $1,000 in order to get 2 - C lot passes or create another RCAF account, donate $250 and get another D-lot pass. Change not communicated by university that I have seen. I had to call to clarify parking. Of course I am sure everyone knows there is definitely no parking at tail gate spots this year. Most disappointing with the lack of communication on major changes like this. OR maybe I just missed the university communications in which case "bad on me"..:eek:

$500.00 – 1 C

$1000.00 – 2 C

$2500.00 – 1 B and 1 C

The TG passes will be for drop off only and will have to park in general parking. Those TG passes will not allow cars to stay in the tailgating spots as in years past. They will no longer be allowed in the gravel lot as in years past.

Why wasn't this "officially" communicated? It seems like a great idea, but if this was not communicated to people with tailgating credentials, I think we are going to have a lot of upset folks come the first game of the season.

This should have been announced before people paid for their tailgating spots. There are many people who think they will be able to park vehicles on their spots. The phones at the RCAF are going to melt after week one.

Because that is the way we do things around here. They delayed so people would have less time to complain. Don't get me wrong because I agree with these rules and tried to tell everyone 2 weeks ago. The new rules should have been sent to everyone no later than July 1st.

They did the same thing for baseball, they changed the rules in between the regionals and super regionals.

This contradicts the rules, as currently published on their own website. This is beyond unprofessional. People have paid for these spots based upon the published rules.

I think it's a reasonable policy if communicated BEFORE payment is made.

Are pull behind trailers allowed in the spot still?

and they just added (2014 updated rules and regulations) to the tailgate page right after i emailed Matt. wasnt there 5 minutes ago.
