Seniors Matt Hicks and Ben Carter combined to throw a two-hit shutout on Tuesday night as the second-ranked Ragin' Cajuns baseball team defeated McNeese State 8-0 in front of a crowd of 4,033 at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field.
Great performance by both pitchers. Matt was originally only suppose to go 3 innings, but could increase time on the mound with a limited pitch count. It sure was great to see 4000+ on a Tuesday night. Hopefully we can hit 4000+ for all 3 games this weekend.

Great job of bouncing back after what was probably their toughest loss of the season. Losing teaches winners one thing. How much losing sucks. Go Cajuns.
#10 and sandwiched between Texas A&m and Alabama...not to shabby. I beleive it will go up a bit after last nights game and this weekend should be great crowds.Quote:
