Arkansas Game Travel Question

Ok, so I saw the K-State game question and it had me thinking.

While I will not, more than likely, be going to Manhattan, I am planning to make my way to Fayetteville. I was going to make hotel arrangements this week.

With that in mind, can anyone recommend a place close to campus and, in general, centrally located for the weekend. We will probably be leaving Thursday and will stay Friday and Saturday nights in Fayetteville. Recommendations for bars, restaurants, night life, etc. would help as well.

Also, are there any plans for Cajuns fan to congregate/ socialize/ party the Friday PM before the game Saturday? Not sure what our number of traveling fans will be, but it would be nice to have a UL establishment Friday night before tailgating begins in earnest Saturday.

I don't know about Fayetteville, but my cousin from Erath has a sushi bar in Little Rock. I'm thinking of partying there and then driving up to Hog heaven in the Morning. Anyone else staying in Little Rock?

By car it is a very hard one day trip for me. I refuse to fly commercial so there ya go. Maybe I can get on as one of the fans who flies with the team like I did when we went to play Utah State so long ago.

Well, we were not making the trip up in one day. Our plan was to leave early Thursday afternoon, spend Thursday evening in Little Rock, then head to Fayetteville Friday AM.

Probably driving up to Fayetteville for the game this year, I am really starting to feel something here!!!

Anybody got the game times for Arkansas and K State???

I was fortunate to get a Frat Brother living in Fayetteville to get me reservations in Springdale,AR . He was telling me he could not find a room for us in Fayetteville so he went elsewhere

Is there a particular reason ya'll are driving through Little Rock? Seems kind of out of the way.

Suggest Lafayette to Texarkana to Fort Smith then on to Fayetteville?
