Kissimmee postcard: Astros are so new even they’re unsure who’s who
KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Everything was new. New faces, new uniforms, new messages. So new even the Astros had difficulty keeping up with everyone and everything. A player and coach joked Saturday it was hard to know who was who without numbers and names on the back of practice jerseys. Astros spring training officially opened Monday, with pitchers and catchers reporting, and it wasn’t any easier to individually pick out faces amongst a flood of new prospects and veterans.
