Fresh off its first conference win of the season and a week of final exams, the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns men’s basketball team resumes its non-conference slate when they make the short drive west on I-10 to Lake Charles to take part in the 88th all-time meeting with McNeese State.

Why are we still playing them? It's not like we get a fair shake from the refs any time we go there.

Now, let us not avoid the other high school on Ryan Street (Barbe being the other). We just saw how well "high and mighty" played out in Ruston.
There was once a time, we would go west, stay the whole game, stand up and wave at their fans leaving early, wishing them a safe drive home (yeah, use to do that, even had MSU security stopped me once), and leave with a "W".
That day will come again, once the SBC makes basketball a priority again. Cajuns are trying but have miles to until we own MACNeese again.
