Lady Cajun Softball is Action Packed

LAFAYETTE - Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns softball program will be hosting the 2004-05 edition of its annual "Meet the Team/Fan Appreciation Day" on Saturday, Oct. 30 at Ragin' Cajuns Softball Park.

The event will begin at 10 a.m. and run until 2 p.m.

Fans are invited to attend and watch the last game of the squad's Fall World Series and visit with players and coaches.

Food and refreshments will be available. There will be games for children and gate prize giveaways.

Renewal of season tickets and applications for GameDay Sponsorships and Centerfield Club memberships will also be available at the social.

I wish they were holding this game Friday afternoon on November 5th while all the tailgaters were over at Cajun Basin waiting for the 9pm game to start.

Still the Lotief's are doing an excellent job and deserve our support. If you can make it out this Saturday I recommend it. Besides, the title of this page is accurate, the game is action packed.

Your pictures of the Softball Team are very good. I go to the practices. They get much dirtier than what you show. I guess that was early in in the session, but it does give the fans an idea of how hard they work.
