Lady Cajuns get commitment from hurler Maggie Ham
Quote:

Maggie Ham ended the recruiting process prior to the start of her junior season at George West High School in south Texas because everything at UL just felt.
Ham verbally committed to the Ragin' Cajuns after taking an unofficial visit to Lafayette last fall and plans to sign a binding national letter of intent with the program in November. She is the first public commitment for UL's 2011 recruiting class.
"I looked around the campus, talked to some of the players and got to see a lot of different things," Ham said. "I liked it a lot. It was nice."

Wish I would have known about the commitment a little earlier. We were in Austin watching the baseball team that same weekend for the regionals when Miss Ham was winning the state title.

It was a silent commitment. Word didn't leak out until just recently.
