Vehicle Accident Leaves Two Dead

JENNINGS, La. (AP) - A single vehicle accident on I-10 has left
two passengers dead.
State police say the accident happened at around 4 p.m. Sunday
just west of Jennings.
Troopers say 26-year-old Steven P. Rider of Jennings was
traveling west on the north I-10 service road when he lost control
of his car in a right hand curve.
They say Rider's vehicle entered a ditch and rolled several
times across the westbound lanes of Interstate 10.
Investigators say 22-year-old Gavin W. Crochet and 20-year-old
Ashlyn Chaisson died from injuries suffered in the crash.
Rider received minor injuries and was booked with negligent
homicide and speeding.
