A 5 vehicle crash claims the life of two and sent 2 others to the hospital.
It happened yesterday afternoon on U.S. 165 just north of I-10.
Police say Roy Serie was traveling north when his vehicle crossed the median and struck Shannon Cox.
Roy Serie was driving the car at the time of the crash back from Houston, where his wife Shelia had been undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
Cox and Serie's wife, Shelia Serie, were pronounced dead at the scene
Roy was released from the hospital following injuries sustained in the crash.
Funeral services for Shelia Serie have been set for Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul's Baptist Church in Ville Platte.
