A strong start to the indoor season earned Joe Patterson Sun Belt Conference Runner of the Week honors.
Patterson won the men's 800 at the Purple Tiger Invite with a top-100 time in the NCAA at 1:55.73. He also finished third in the mile with a personal-best time of 4:12.71.
The Ragin' Cajuns are back in action on January 31 at the Robert Platt Invitational in Houston.
