There is a game for Apple and Android called Retro Bowl that has been very popular for a few years now based on the NFL.
This week they released a game based on college football. They have all the colleges and conferences but with very loosely connected names. There is a Louisiana, but they play in the Sun Sash conference.
I haven't tried the college version yet, but the NFL version is very addictive.

I love Retro Bowl, super fun game. I'll have to check out the college version too!
