Loved me some Stevie P for softball...best by far.

He works for the city in youth sports. Youth sports are played on weekends. I think it's just a matter of him not being available for enough games and to travel. I think Learfield wants consistent announcers for each sport.

It was a good run for him. I think the new play-by-play announcer, Cody Junot, will do a fantastic job. He has done softball occasionally in the past and has always done a fine job.
