Did the headline go out like this?
"Louisiana Women Returns to the Cajundome for Thursday Tilt with South Alabama"
The article says it is from Louisiana Athletics, so I wonder if it went out like this or KATC changed it?
"Returns" should read "Return"
I'm thinking they had to add "Women" for clarity whereas "Louisiana Returns" would have been correct.
They didn't have this problem when Lady Cajuns was a brand.

Re: Did it go out like this?
KATC also reported Maggard said CF renovations are starting at the end of the ‘23 season while Maggard stated a week ago it wasn’t starting any sooner than the end of the ‘23 season.
Re: Did it go out like this?
If you read it out loud in .a Cajun accent it makes perfect sense

An expectation has clearly been set now for the renovation of CF to start at end of 2023 season regardless of how you read it. If it does not happen at end of 2023 season, it will not be good
Re: Did it go out like this?
If Louisiana is considered singular as one entity, then “Louisiana Women” aka the team of women, vice multiple separate women, would also be deemed singular
how is it written if it were teams that end in s, cajuns, saints, etc?
Re: Did it go out like this?
I’ve always wondered if we are “Cajuns fans” or “Cajun fans”.

now you know why “casual fan” is singular….
Re: Did it go out like this?
maybe we should have spelled Ragin with a J to match the J in cajun
Re: Did it go out like this?
back when they were still “Lady Cajuns” were they not able to “Rage”, and did newspapers ever call them “Cajun Ladies”

In the 1960's words had meaning.
Dropping the last g on Raging was radical at the time.
