Eli Ortego posted a school-record 8-under-par 63 to vault up 25 spots on the individual leaderboard and the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns posted school-records for the lowest team round and 54-hole total to wrap up play on Sunday at the Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational at Royal Ka'anapali Golf Club.
Great job. May it carry over to the spring.

As soon as they flew over Austin on their way to Hawaii, the whole golf team forgot how to do the world famous UL hand sign.
Everyone that has been giving golf a hard time (which was warranted, admittedly) needs to recognize what Eli Ortego just did. Played holes 7-15 in -7, no bogeys and mixed in an eagle as he made the turn. That's a damn score card on that course. Hopefully this kind of play sticks around.
