Head Coach Rankings: How Good Were All 76 This Bowl Season?
#39. Michael Desormeaux, Louisiana
Louisiana 36, Marshall 21
That was exactly what you want to see out of your new head man. Can he keep things going from the successful former guy? Billy Napier was off to Florida, but Desormeaux had his team ready – even if it took a big fourth quarter to finally take over the game

I would rank Mike much higher.
Once again coaches who lost their bowl game are ranked higher in how well they did in their bowl game.

….. trying to figure out the past season Louisiana had only 3 wins against teams with a winning record and many teams benefited from playing teams with losing records…. we were ranked about 25th in Massey…. Tulane was ranked 102 and all of its 10 losses were to tams with winning records….. this tells me the teams are stacked pretty close up and down the charts….. wonder if coaching is the difference? Also wondering how in the really first year of significance of NIL, how rankings might change????

Kansas state coach got ranked higher by beating the crap out of a team that did less with less.

A boomer post that only fits Massey and Tulane into it...you couldn't work in Tech, secondary sexual characteristics, and the fight song?
