Senior Claire Meyers will be one of two members of the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Track and Field team looking for a spot on the 2020 U.S. Olympic Team when she competes in the women's javelin at the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials at historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.

Wishing both of these ladies well. Claire's dad is a native of Abbeville and is one of the current assistant coaches on the UL softball staff. Morgann's dad Shane, is a first class coach. Shane also owns the New Heights Gym.

Wishing both of these ladies well. Claire’s dad is a great native of Abbeville who lives in Maurice and is currently an assistant coach on our softball staff. Morgann’s dad, Shane, is a first class coach and a man (hoping her dad is a man).

I think Morgann has a shot to make the team from what the coaches have told me.
