Recruiting question

Does someone have an insight as to why our recruiting class is not that great compared to other G5s this year? I know we have less signees but the average ratings of the signees has dropped significantly over the last 2 signing classes. Is it because we are only recruiting a specific target group or is it we are just not doing that good recruiting this year? Just a question if anyone in the know has an answer. I try not to get caught up in recruiting rankings but it is obviously a bias in the rankings of the CFP that has more weight than wins and losses.

From what I've heard from some out there, its been hard to get accurate ratings on more prospects out there due to the lack of camps and perhaps even games this year with Covid. Less evaluation time and opportunities means there will be gaps in the recruiting rankings. However, I do agree, that I thought we'd have some higher profile guys committed due to our success over the past couple of years.

We only signed 8 guys the rest are signing in the spring

UL should hold at least five spots for transfers and hit the portal hard. We can clean up with Napier and a great record the last two years.
