Levi Lewis on 2021: 'I'm coming back'

Allowed an extra year of eligibility, UL quarterback Levi Lewis says he plans to remain with the program and play again in the 2021 season.

I saw that Levi will be returning for the 2021 season. Interesting!

He’s not returning to ride pine.

Good news but non news.

I knew Levi would play as long as he possible could when he told Hud to play him "now" because he was leaving after his junior year. Jay Walker is the only one I recall believing Levi at the time. ... and Hud of course.

Still glad to have him, very welcomed non news.

Is there a deadline for players to decide on next year? I was wondering about Ragas and Mitchell.

What we should be hoping for is Napier realizing that Levi is not a competent enough passer for the gameplan he is currently running. There are better ways to utilize a QB whose biggest strength are his legs. We have no other option at QB, and Napier is highly compensated. If we return the entire offensive line and both Mitchell/Ragas...we could be looking at another extremely special year...if Napier gets his head out of his ___.

PS just so you know. Des was my favorite QB ever. But if you say his name you lose all credibility

I'm ready to move on I wish he would leave. I appreciate all he has done for the program but I can see our young guys looking to go somewhere else if he stays.
