UL Softball Signs Rebeca Laudino
She will have two years of eligibility remaining when she joins UL.
Re: UL Softball Signs Rebeca Laudino
Just looked it up, Brazil is currently ranked #14 in the World Softball rankings, they have been as high as #11 at one point. When you can sign a player that has played at the highest level of their Sport for a team that is ranked in the Top 15 teams in the world that is something special.
Great Job Coach Glasco.

Re: UL Softball Signs Rebeca Laudino
Her current team, Florida Southwestern, was ranked 1 or 2 nationally for most of the 2019 regular season by the NJCAA in their Div 1 polls:

2021 class and she signed already or is it a misprint and should be 2020?

She has signed and will be in the 2021 season with 2 years left to play...she is playing her 2020 season in Florida.

Perhaps people actually consider this the 2019 season not 2020. We’re in 2020 a little over a week away. There’s no crossover like basketball.

This is what I am confused about. I cannot recall an athlete being allowed to sign that far in advance. This is like a JC football player signing right now, playing his Soph season at the JUCO and then coming to UL. Like I said, I have never seen it before it any sport.
