Craig Ford's 36-yard field goal went wide right as time expired Saturday, giving UL a 31-28 win at ULM that sends the Ragin' Cajuns into the Sun Belt Conference title game at Appalachian State as winner of the SBC West.
Up 24-21 at halftime, UL came out of a scoreless third quarter and extended its lead later with a 40-yard Levi Lewis screen pass to Elijah Mitchell.
