LOUISIANA REALTORS just released their report on the housing market in Louisiana. Despite some down numbers, officials are optimistic for 2010, calling 2009 a stabilizing year.
Statewide on average, the number of houses sold in 2009 was down 2.3 % from 2008. In Lafayette and Acadiana the percent change in the number of houses sold was below the state average, dropping 4.1% from 2008 to 2009.
