It didn't look too serious when it happened. Seemed like she just jammed it a little. How very sad for her and the team.

I don't keep up with UL softball that much. How big of a lose is Katie Smith? Do we have a nice second option as her replacement?

Jensen Tydelski was EA Sports All-American in high school last year. I look for to fill the position.

They could also move Lana Bowers to first, Christi Orgeron to right, and put the freshman catcher Sarah Draheim behind the plate. I know they want to get Sarah some experience this year so we don't go into next year with an inexperienced catcher.

Yea I think that would work, but do you really want to pull an experienced and highly respected catcher who has played a BIG role in your pitching over the last few years and play her out of her comfortable position? But I understand why they would want Sarah to get some innings played...we wouldn't want her to go in the fire next season inexperienced.
