Matt Canada would be one. Jay Johnson would actually be another one in the eyes of cajun fans. Maybe not across the state but certainly here since we all know what type of offense we had when he was at the helm.

I️ would certainly hope jay Johnson would get a phone call. Not sure about Canada, something stinks between him and Coach O...and recruiting the state with the tiger love fest might prove difficult.

Jay would be accessible money-wise... but I'm not sure about him being our head coach. I don't see recruits viewing him as a "name". Matt Canada would be a name for us. But I don't see him being accessible money-wise. He makes a lot more right now than we pay Hud. I'd love either one being our OC... of course. But I still lean toward a hot shot FCS coach. If they're a hot shot FCS coach... they've got something going on in the recruiting front. And if they're known to run a great offensive system... I tend to believe they'll have success at UL.

Is there such a thing as a hot shot FCS coach? LOL. I don't know how an FCS guy would carry a better name than Jay Johnson. I know he may not knock the socks off of some people who weren't familiar with our program 6 years ago or so but this offense never looked as good as it did with him leading it and he's been receiving pay increases at Minnesota in his time there.
