Southern Miss held off a late rally by No. 11 Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball in Game 1 and executed a comeback of their own in Game 2 on the final day of the 31st Annual Louisiana Classics at Lamson Park.

The 11th-ranked Louisiana Ragin’ Cajun softball team wrapped-up play in the the 31st Louisiana Classics at Lamson Park on Sunday with a pair of losses.

Allow me to apologize to our Lady Cajuns and the fans. I screwed up the mojo.
They were 4-0, and I had yet been able to watch any of their games. I put softball on the tube yesterday, and our team lost both.
Either that, or I wasn't drinking the correct beer during those two games.

Gotta change beer in that situation. All your fault! But, it is early in the season and can be corrected.

No shutouts. Only one run rule game. Not what we usually see in this tournament.

Better competition in these first 3 weekends than what we've seen in the past. There are a few things to clean up.
Weather and crowds were great this weekend. Concession choices and game day management have really stepped up. More beer choices and gumbo and jambalaya.
