FOUR DOWNS: (How important is getting Elijah McGuire involved in the offense?)
1 Back in the saddle
Why do we fall, Master Bruce? The Cajuns can’t afford to dwell on the fact that their six-game winning streak came to an end last weekend. While they might physically be a better team than Troy, the Trojans will likely come out with the emotional edge early for coach Larry Blakeney’s last game on the sideline (more on that next). Did the Cajuns learn how to pick themselves back up after their three-game tumble earlier this season? We shall see.

How important is it to get Elijah going? At what expense? I'd say If we make it a point to get him going, while making our play calling as obvious as it was against App State, then it's not important at all. If we don't try to force our hand one way or the other, naturally, McGuire will get his... If we make it a point to force feed him up the middle, he gets shut down like last week. And that does not bode well for our offense...
