Internet Explorer 11 Replaces Internet Explorer 8 As The Most Popular Browser Worldwide
Net Applications today released their latest worldwide browser market share stats for the month of October. Internet Explorer market share is now at 58.24%. Among the Internet Explorer versions, IE11 showed a great growth by increasing to 24.05% from 17.13%. This is the first month, Internet Explorer 11 is becoming the most popular browser in the market. IE8 which was the top browser for past few years dropped to 17.13% from 22.25%. Internet Explorer 9 is at the third place with 8.68%. Overall, IE held 58.49% market share. Among other browsers, Chrome is now at 21.25% and Firefox continues to lose market share and it is now down to 13.9% of the market.
