Sony announces the $199 Xperia Z3v for Verizon, coming October 23

At its Demand Great event in New York today, Sony Mobile announced the Xperia Z3v, the US version of its flagship smartphone coming to Verizon on October 23. The $199 Z3v packs a 5.2-inch 1080p display and 20.7MP rear camera. The device is waterproof, and, starting in November, it will offer PlayStation 4 Remote Play support when combined with a DualShock controller. Sony solidified_its relationship with Verizon earlier this year by launching the Xperia Z2 Tablet. Customers that purchase the tablet and phone together can save $200 for a limited time.
