Writer’s workshop scheduled Saturday

UL — A writer’s workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the Acadiana Center for the Arts.
The workshop series, “Writing in the Center” is co-sponsored by the Acadiana Writing Project. Saturday’s session will be led by Jean Edwards of the University of Louisiana's School of Architecture and Design.
Edwards will use the arts center’s Southern Open juried art exhibit as the backdrop for a series of short writing exercises. All participants will produce examples of personal and creative writing that they can discuss and share.
