Lady Cajuns to Host Northwestern State at 2pm

UL – Louisiana's Lady Cajuns tennis team will be in action Tuesday at Cajun Courts. They will open up with a match against Northwestern State at 2 p.m.
The women are currently on a three match winning streak and will look to extend that to four against the Lady Demons. On the year the Lady Demons are 7-4.
The only common opponent both the Lady Cajuns and the Lady Demons have faced is Texas A&M- Corpus Christi. The Lady Demons beat the Islanders 5-2 whereas the Cajuns came up just short losing 4-3.
The women have also been granted a win over UNO in their first match. The match was originally won by UNO 5-2 but the Sun Belt has ruled that UNO used an Illegal lineup. Due to this decision the Cajuns improve to 4-7 on the year.
UL’s Julie Mazinova was recently named Sun Belt Conference player of the week. She is currently on a three match winning streak in doubles and singles matches.
Marina Ruiz de Gauna is quietly picking up her game by winning the last three singles matches.
