LA’s Dwayne Mitchell had 43 points, 12 rebounds and five assists.
Trey Gilder led the 14ers with 23 points off the bench. Colorado is in second place in the Southwest Division with an 18-8 record.

Daaaayyyyuummm. Dwayne went off. Not wishing injury on any Lakers, but would love to see D get a callup one day. I think he will have his best shot going into next year though.

What a performance. I still say he was the most exciting player that I've ever seen at the Dome. Of course, this is my opinion.

There are disagreements here and there about who is an "athlete" vs. a "basketball player" and I am here to tell you that Dwayne Mitchell's picture is next to the definition of "athlete" in the dictionary and he was a pretty darned good college basketball player to boot.
I will never ever forget his dunk on Houston. Afterwards, I sat in amazement asking myself and those around me, "WTH just happened?!".

How about the dunk against FIU where he caught the ball off of a rebound...ahhh the memories!

He's a freak. Me and a buddy of mine always wondered what he could do on a football field with his speed and leaping ability. Now that is something I wish I could have seen. I too hope he gets a call up soon. One of my favorite Cajuns of all time next to L. Bridges.
