Looks like Louisiana will be a third seed. Last year that was not a good location. Then again unless you were NMSU no location was a good location.

LOUISIANA La. — Chad Cooper’s solo home run in the fifth inning provided the eventual margin of victory for Middle Tennessee here Wednesday night as the sixth-seeded Blue Raiders held on for a 6-4 victory over Louisiana in the final game of the opening day of the Dodge Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament.
The host Cajuns (28-29), unable to take advantage of the home field in the opening round of the conference meet, will have to make the turnaround early today when they face second-seeded New Mexico State in a 9:30 a.m. elimination game. That game opens the second day of the four-day, double-elimination meet that will qualify one league team for the NCAA Tournament.

If the Cajuns are to gain that slot, they’ll have to do it through the loser’s bracket, as Middle Tennessee (30-25) never trailed and followed the pitching of Steve Kline to the opening win.
Kline (7-3) scattered nine hits, only two of them coming in the last five innings, and only two runs after the opening frame when Louisiana’s Corey Coles hit a two-run homer.
By that time, Middle had already taken a 2-0 lead, and took the lead for good with single runs in the second and third innings on the way to advancing to today’s 3:30 p.m. winners bracket semifinal against Arkansas-Little Rock.
Cajun starter Jordy Templet (6-5) was ineffective against the Raiders, allowing six hits to Middle’s first 12 batters including an RBI single to Cooper and a run-scoring double by Josh Archer in that opening inning. -->
