Google reportedly to show off Android TV platform with online media and gaming focus at Google
We already caught a glimpse of Google’s rumored Android TV platform back in April, but a new report from Gigaom claims that the company will launch the product at its Google I/O developer conference in June. As you’d expect, Android TV is believed to have a focus on streaming online media like Netflix and Hulu and gaming, similar to Amazon’s FireTV set-top box. The major innovation for the new platform is said to be a card-based interface, code-named Pano, that can drop users straight into playing content without having to navigate through an app. It’s not clear how Chromecast_will fit...
