The week held each spring is a chance offers students a little something extra as the semester winds down and finals loom around the corner.
Events continue today with a dive-in movie at the Student Aquatic Center at 8 p.m. and conclude on Thursday when the week's traditions get in a full swing with the annual jump into Cypress Lake and the crawfish boil at Blackham. <hr>

TUESDAY APRIL 22 - DIVE IN MOVIE - 8 PM STUDENT AQUATIC CENTER
free for students, featuring the movie “Juno”, food and soft drinks will be served; come early and enjoy OPEN MIC NITE which begins @ 7 pm
WEDNESDAY APRIL 23 - CANOE RACES - 3 PM CYPRESS LAKE
sign up for this contest in the UPC office of the student union, teams of 4
THURSDAY APRIL 24 - LAGNIAPPE DAY
<li> 12 noon - Randi LeBlanc with the University Program Council and current holder of the traditions chair, will continue the time honored, <a href="https://forumeus.com/showthread.php?t=4728" target="_blank">Phil Beridon</a> Lagniappe tradition, of braving Cypress Swamp with a splash jump into the water.
<li> 12:15 pm - Cake Giveaway Union Portch
<li> 12:30 pm - Pepper eating contest, EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK, sign up in UPC office of student union
<li> 2:30 pm - outdoor festivities begin @ Blackham Coliseum
<li> 4:30 pm - doors open for crawfish, jambalaya and live entertainment by Rockin’ Doopsie and the Zydeco Twisters
All the festivities are free for students with a meal plan, boil tickets are $7 for other students and $10 for the general public.
