Opponents View: Razorbacks host Payton, Ragin' Cajuns

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas (1-0) sports the more prestigious SEC pedigree and the home court, but it is the Sun Belt Conference’s visiting University of Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns (2-0) from Lafayette sporting the most honored player at Walton Arena tonight.

Now calling themselves the Louisiana after name changes from the University of Southwestern Louisiana to the University of Louisiana-Lafayette, the Ragin’ Cajuns and third-year Coach Mike Anderson’s Razorbacks tip off at 7 p.m. on radio but no TV.

Actually, not a bad thing. It helps with the transition from Louisiana-Lafayette to Louisiana for the general public. They actually refer to us as the University of Louisiana and not just Louisiana, which of course, is their prerogative.

You can't fault them from claiming it's difficult to keep up with what we want to call ourselves. The name situation aside, the article gives us a good bit of respect. Let's start this weekend with a W.

I already posted this in the GA St/UL tv thread, but thought it might reach the target audience here.

According to the Arky athletics website, there will be a live video feed for the game. It's available on 'RazorVision' and the shortest/cheapest subscription is 1 month and will run you $12.95.

Below is a link to the 'RazorVision' sign up for those who are interested. Don't know anything about it, but I was determined to find a video feed for the game.
