I voted yes based on your criteria. However, knowing that he will be here at least one more year, my recommendation to the new president would be, if he doesn't win at least 7 games and do no worse than second in the conference, then he needs to be fired after next season no matter how much it takes to buy him out.
I don't think its as set in stone as you think that he will be back. But my criteria was just to say does his performance deserve an extra yearQuote:

For those who have voted No as to whether Bustle should be fired, please explain why. What has he done to warrant another year on the job?
He's done a lot for the program considering where it was when he took over and how impossible it seemed that we'd ever get more than 3 wins in any given year again. He's mostly stunk up the joint this year, I'll give you that, but with two new coordinators, the offense has been effective outside of a couple bonehead calls and the defense has shown flashes of what it could be. And really, we've played pretty well and been competitive in the majority of our games. Considering that we're not likely to get much of an upgrade this year and what we'd have to eat with his contract, I'd give him next year to see if we get improvement on both sides of the ball and in the win column. If not, then he's gone. But I'd give him another year to see if it can turn around...I mean, really, it's not like we're missing out on potential BCS Championship games or anything even if a new coach did come in and turn it around next year.
What about the potential recurits that we miss out on that look at the AWFUL record? But then again we wouldn't get those potential BCS conference players anyway!Quote:
