Center fielder Jonathan Lucroy and left fielder Jeffries Tatford each had two hits for the Ragin' Cajuns.
The Aggies defeated Ohio State 10-4 in an elimination game earlier Sunday.
On Saturday night, the Ragin' Cajuns scored three runs in the seventh and another in the eighth to rally for a 5-4 victory over the Aggies.
Texas A&M ace Kyle Nicholson (11-2) handcuffed the Ragin' Cajuns through six innings, allowing three hits and one run as Texas A&M led 3-1.
Nicholson, however, walked Lucroy and Tatford to start the seventh. Nolan Gisclair then singled to load the bases with nobody out. After Matt Hicks struck out, Scott Hawkins hit a two-run single up the middle to tie the score at 3. Matt Casbon followed with a single to left center to score Gisclair.
In the bottom of the eighth, Lucroy hit his 18th home run of the season to left center to increase the Ragin' Cajuns lead to 5-3. Lucroy set the all-time UL-Lafayette RBI record with 182, breaking Damian Grossie mark set in 1991.
Texas A&M's Blake Stouffer doubled with one out in the ninth off Andrew Laughter (3-1). Craig Stinson then hit a ball to left center, but Tatford's leaping catch at the wall robbed Stinson. Lance Anders then doubled home Stouffer to cut UL-Lafayette's lead to 5-4.
Laughter got Dane Carter to ground out to end the game.
Ragin' Cajuns starter Hunter Moody was able to work out of trouble on several occasions.
Texas A&M threatened in the first off an error and a bunt single, but Moody got a flyout and groundout to end the threat.
In the third inning, Moody's error, a bunt single and a hit batsman loaded the bases with no outs. But Moody got Blake Stouffer looking at a third strike, got Stinson to pop up and then struck out Anders.
The Aggies scored two runs in the fourth and one in the seventh.
