Road closing Monday at Rockefeller refuge

(AP) - The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries says Lake Price Road will be closed beginning Monday at the Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge in Cameron and Vermilion parishes.<br /> <br />The road is a primary access point for outdoor recreation on the western end of the refuge. It will be closed until further notice, officials said.<br /> <br />The closing is in association with a $1.2 million construction project that will provide three fishing piers with extended walkway access for recreational fishing, crabbing and shrimping.<br /> <br />The work is expected to take about 6 months.
