I'm not sure what's been said about this but just want to throw it out there...with the incoming of Brignac and the return of Cuevas next year, will they redshirt Donna Bourgeois ? I've heard it being rumored but can anyone say its for sure? We don't need 3 pitchers and I think we should save her. The redshirting choice seems like a great one.
Oh, my middle child, I have taught you well in regard to the Ragin Cajun softball world! I haven't heard anything about red shirting but I am looking forward to another great year next year regardless if anyone is redshirted or not. It would be nice for all to pitch. I am just hoping that this year we can pull through the Sun Belt tournament (see it live-best $9.95 I've spent yet) and get back to the NCAA tournament.
That is what I was told about Donna. That may indeed change in the fall, she does also swing the ball extremely well. The staf has Hall and Tankersley(injured finger most of the year) that will give them depth as well. But make no mistake about Brignac, she is the real deal.Quote:

If donna has a weak fall with the bat she will red shirt...If she hits regardless of how she pitches she will dp...I dont think she pitches next year unless we have a lot of injures...
