I went to yahoo and typed in Chris Masson Miami and it brought up newspaper artcles that had references to him. Didn't find anything that was very impressive in the articles but I didn't read very many either.Quote:

Chris Masson saw UL's offense in person earlier this year when the Ragin' Cajun football team traveled to Miami and took a Florida International.
Obviously, he liked what he saw.
The 6-foot-0 1/2, 175-pound Masson, heralded as one of South Florida's top prep quarterbacks, gave UL coach Rickey Bustle a verbal commitment this week and became the fifth Cajun commitment for the 2007 recruiting class.
"I think I can run that offense perfect," Masson said Friday. "Going to that game (the FIU game) was a great deal for me because it's similar to the offense we've run.
"We don't do as much of the zone read, but we do all the shotgun and rolling out, getting on the move, and I really like that."
Masson liked it enough to guide Christopher Columbus High in Miami to a 5-0 start and a final 7-4 record, completing 150 of 293 passes for 1,805 yards and 19 scores with nine interceptions as a senior.

The Explorers reached the Class 6A playoffs first round before losing to Miami Northwestern, the nation's No. 7 team in USA Today's Super 25 prep rankings.
Masson's commitment gives UL five verbal pledges, including two from the group that made official visits over the past weekend.
Masson was a member of the Miami Herald's All-Miami Dade County squad and the paper's Class 6A-5A-4A third team, and will play in the annual Dade-Broward All-Star Game in January.
The Herald ranked him as one of the two best quarterbacks in the Miami-Dade County area.
"We had a lot of high expectations this year, and we were hoping for a better season," Masson said. "We had a younger team and had some injuries, and we wound up having to play some freshmen.
"We expected a lot more, but it wasn't a failure. Dade County's probably the toughest county in Florida."
Masson also rushed for 245 yards and three scores for the Explorers, who were 11-1 in his junior season.
"He's got better speed than a lot of people think," said Columbus coach Chris Merrit. "He'll go 4.5 in the 40 and he runs on our 4x1 relay team at school."
Masson played as a sophomore at Coral Park in Miami before transferring to Columbus prior to his junior season. That's where he caught the attention of UL assistant Brian Jenkins.
"He visited me at the house this week," Masson said. "He pretty much called me every week and that let me know they wanted me there.
"When I visited I expected it to be a smaller town. I liked the town and the campus, the old look of the buildings on campus. I liked what I saw academically and they had what I wanted to major in (sports management)."
Masson had also been recruited by FIU and drew interest from Western Michigan and Memphis prior to his senior season.
"They (UL) got on him early," Merrit said, "and after they brought him in to visit he was pretty much sold."
