Opponents View: Louisiana up next for OSU
Oklahoma State will focus on avoiding the mistakes made in a loss to Arizona as they host the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns at 11 a.m. in Stillwater.
The Cowboys allowed 59 points last Saturday and face a 2-0 Louisiana team that just beat Troy on the road.
"This is going to be a good challenge for us," said OSU coach Mike Gundy. "They're very athletic and they have 15 to 16 players who are starting who are juniors or seniors, which means they're an experienced football team.

They seem to think that we have a massive front line. Is that coach speak? I don't know. How does our front line compare to what most college coaches are looking for?
Re: Opponents View: Louisiana up next for OSU
UL's OL size is as good as any team. Not talking just Sun Belt, any team period. When talking Off Line, size isn't the only thing that matters though. Foot work, speed and power are even more important than just size. UL is getting better in these areas, but teams like OK State have guys that excel in these areas and on top of that, they have many of them, plenty of depth.
Re: Opponents View: Louisiana up next for OSU
last week we saw the O-line improve in front of our eyes. They will have to play even better this week and I think they will. We must be able to run the ball and again, I think we will. Option reads from Blaine and Terrance will keep them off balance and open up Harris and Reed.

Size matters... but how you use it is also extremely important. Now... back to football... we do have a big front line by any standard. But, you are correct... the focus in on footwork. The size and speed of DL these days pretty much prohibits a giant sloth on the OL from being very effective.

Good point, Ha. I think that's a thread on Lo Tech's forum.

Pretty funny. They "saw" Broadway on the sideline. And no, we do not run a "2 QB system".
