After leading No. 10 Louisiana to a program-best 26-0 start to the season, including a 9-2 defeat over the defending World Series champion No. 5 Arizona State, Nerissa Myers and Jordan Wallace were named the Sun Belt Conference Softball Players of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday.

Ok, Ok we get the best of Mississippi, Texas, and of course Louisiana. IMO should they should also be the players of the week for their home states. Congratulations to both these fine young women.
