When Mexico invaded Louisiana
It was a year in which UL was down but not out.
The Bulldogs were between shellacs by Tulane and LSU but were still game enough to take on another country.
The date was October 1st 1930 when the real Mexicans from the University of Mexico came to the Swamp for a game.
The game was billed as a scrimmage.
